NumeramaWhat if we use English on Mastodon ? It could be a convenient and universal way to communicate with you and with @gargon and all the cool kids who are working on Mastodon as we toot. Any thoughts ?
eeek@numerama wouldn't mind but I don't see how to enforce a single language on a platform like this. As soon as someone will decide to not bother everyone will go back to tooting in FR/DE/etc.
That and the massive influx from Twitter, lots of users used to tweeting in their own language.
