fleskSimpleScreenRecorder is a GPL-3.0 licensed application for recording and streaming games on #Linux. It's not as feature rich as OBS, but, as the name suggests, it's very simple to use.
I've used it for almost all of my videos on YouTube, and found it more than adequate for my needs, in most cases.
