i installed gnu ring last night and just started it up this morning

UI seems quite nice so i'm cautiously optimistic about it maybe being useful some day

@bea is it like Skype, but OSS?

the windows client seems nicer than skype so far (lighter, cleaner) but i have not had a chance to make any calls/chats yet
