beatrix bitroti installed gnu ring last night and just started it up this morning
UI seems quite nice so i'm cautiously optimistic about it maybe being useful some day

the windows client seems nicer than skype so far (lighter, cleaner) but i have not had a chance to make any calls/chats yet
