As part of a long-running dissatisfaction with the way that human anatomy is taught to illustrators, I hit the raw anatomy reference books and sites and worked out my own way of understanding this landscape. (Something that also irritated me was the constant use of the muscular male figure as the default starting point for understanding the body. In my diagrams, I'm running with an intentionally androgynous figure and skeleton.)
@dzuk Great visualization. I love any good use of subway map type design. It always seems to get right to the meat of the knowledge and smooths out unnecessary complexity so well.
