I have to say, the most destructive thing about #Linux is 'distro hopping.' I did it for awhile and, looking back, it was a colossal waste of time. I'm much more productive now that I picked a distro (#Solus) and stuck with it.
@oswriter I would have to agree with you. The only thing that save me from any real loss, is that I am not bound to any job or requirement. This make it easier to indulge this destructive behaviour. 😀

The users have the freedom to use what they want, and keep trying new ones.

@oswriter. I'm addicted to distrohopping but I have machines dedicated for this purpose. I have machines that have purposes at home, a squid server and a media/file server. They are static. I also have a USB that I can boot on any machine should the need arise. Will I ever get over the desire to try out new and old distros? IDK. I enjoy it a bunch.
