#HandsOffSyria@photonparadise us Marxists should hope for the dissolution of left anticommunist orgs like DSA and the mass defections of their followers to proper communist parties with correct political lines and democratic centralism. There's salvageable momentum there but as an entity DSA can't be reformed or changed into something that can bring anti-imperialist action or revolution.
@ravenoir We can hope all we want but DSA is the largest organization within the US that comes within spitting distance of any kind of popular left movement outside of the personality cult of Sanders. We must engage with the social/political forces as they appear before us and one question before DSA is whether to continue working within the Dem Party. I'm not suggesting that DSA is revolutionary or capable of reform. But they're people who need experience.
