I started at 90% full (my battery no longer goes above that). I've been going for 2 hours now (119 minutes to be exact) and I'm only down to 38%. PowerTOP says I'm discharging the battery at ~23 W and it says I have 1:31 left. I have been keeping the brightness relatively low, but I've been using it outside. This is the best it's been since I switched to Arch.
AmericanIdiot@sumner @Jasper_Ben @wheeler @Ghosty @seasharp @architect Nice. Yeah, before I turned off intel_pstate, the fan would come on -HARD- when I scrolled a browse window. Now there is much less fan activity and the bottom of the laptop is a lot cooler.
So much for installing the latest software!
