I honestly forgot how dark and mysterious this game is...

Picking up Theresia again, I can immediately see why i gravitated towards this game as a teen.

There is a lot of intrigue in this game and I would put it on par with the intrigue i felt when playing Rule of Rose.
I am just super invested in the story the game is presenting.

My only criticism is, it is quite slow. Plot pacing is fine, I mean the navigation, especially in the corridors can be a little slow.
As for the puzzles, I have had a couple of moments where I was completely confused, but I have been able to bumble my way through it...

Y'know, I was going to post a spoiler screenshot highlighting some of the darkness within this game.

But, I can't bring myself to. Even behind spoilers and content warnings, I was like... No. I don't want to potentially ruin someone's day.

It's one thing to have a character death explained, but the way it all transpired even made me go "christ on a bike!"
I must have scrubbed that sequence from my memory.
Or perhaps i am getting more sensitive as the years go by.

@ishambard Wait, just how bad is it? Like maybe the kind of thing that might make the game not really so enjoyable for some right now?

@nazokiyoubinbou

I think i am just not well-equipped to talk about it, at least not without it feeling a bit like that soyjak pointing meme, with me pointing at the fact the game has an M rating.

I was running a couple of drafts and I just felt awful trying to talk about it.

I am probably blowing it out of proportion, but the image and dialogue that is going on before the murder of a character too young to be playing the game was particularly chilling in my mind.

@ishambard Ok, I get the point well enough anyway.
