Are artists using a special film over their iPad screens these days?
also here@photex yeah i put some textured thing on to make it more like a cintiq. it does add color noise and make the stylus more jittery in the sub-mm range though
@cpsdqs is the trade off worth it because you’re more accurate in other ways then? Like the feel helps you control the strokes etc?
@photex it certainly feels nicer and less slippery. don’t have to press down as hard to get friction. it would in theory make it nicer for writing as well, if it didn’t mean my letters coming out wonky occasionally. I should note that I tend to write rather small though. still wins over most other tablets in terms of letting me write that small lol
