onyinyang@ai6yr ohhhh is that my problem? 😂 I haven't tried growing them from seed before but there's only one (out of more than 10 that I planted) still going, and only because it's hiding in the Amaranth patch.

Darth Osler@ai6yr Eastern gray squirrels are invading the PNW. Several hung out on our place last year. They chopped off the tips of branches on our Western Red Cedar trees. I had to rake up branch bits beneath those trees.
This year the grays seem to have moved on. Perhaps they decided trying to survive by eating the tiny seeds produced by cedar trees was not a viable plan.
