I agree with their campaign against chat control. But saying the EU wants it, when it's just some pressure group (or whatever they are) trying to force it through, is not right.

This is a bit understandable interpretation, if the EU Parliment president wants to force CC and 23 of 27 member states want it.

But I agree that's a generalisation and that's bad, as you say.

@dzwiedziu Roberta Metsola is the President of the Parliament. Typically this figure doesn't have much power.

The President of the Commission is Ursula Von Der Leyen.
