There is a European-owned place called https://aisle.com/ that is doing world class security bug finding. Beating Mythos even in this case. But no one in Europe likes talking up our own talent. Been trying to get them mentioned in Dutch news for ages, but all we can do apparently is promote US tech.
@bert_hubert the truth is America is and always has been defined by its hucksters, cons and self-promoting frauds.
there are periods of correction as snake oil gets caught (too many lies, ponzi collapse), and then it all blows up in the next "domain shift" because detection has to restart.
the thing about Trump, Musk, Enron, Lance Armstrong... is that America doesn't //prevent// them because it thinks the late detection/correction downsides are worth the explosive gambling.
the same logic is why Hitler was allowed to be appointed Chancellor in Germany. he was unpopular, considered a fool, losing support and yet he was appointed to power anyway, on the assumption he would be reigned in by polite conversation. instead, his self promotion was so effective, he ended up being the only guy that anyone could ever talk about.
@bert_hubert I should add that EU-based mythos busting has been called out immediately and repeatedly since April, with significant views (50K/day) so it's not a secret, even while it's not mainstream:
Likewise, my lyric.wirken.ai tests are EU based and have publicly deflated Mythos claims. Just 0.75 Eur to find the vulns that Mythos claimed were their $10,000 flagship example. It's almost entirely a marketing/promotion game in American tech, so normal levels of integrity expected in other engineering fields falls to the floor.

I spent 30 years inside Silicon Valley and have seen it all first hand.
Look at how I called out Tesla in 2006 for bringing funny numbers to our SV tech offices. 20 years of fraud while far superior EU engineering gets reported as trying to "catch up".
