“The idea of the Russian military being a threat to Europe is ridiculous. Russia can’t even get to Kyiv! A few years ago, Russia had 4% of the world’s military spending and Nato had 40%.”

The real problem, Rovelli suggests, is mutual fear.

@berternste2 I like Rovelli but he’s been wrong about Ukraine from the start. Clearly Russia didn’t need to reach Kyiv to kill thousands of people and they had no political rational to do so, NATO is not and never was a threat to Russia itself, only to their expanding empire.
