Zerion: Encrypted P2P messenger over Tor. No servers, no accounts. | Product Hunt

Zerion is a messenger built around one idea: there should be nothing to hand over, ban, or breach. Everything runs over Tor including voice and video calls. No phone number, no email, no central server. Your contacts are onion addresses. Post-quantum triple ratchet on every message. Dual profiles for plausible deniability. Encrypted local storage with anti-forensics. Public and private channels. Account backup encrypted with Argon2id and AES-256-GCM, transferable over Tor. Open source

@zerionchat Great that it's on #Fdroid. Please see if you can release for Linux, preferably a #flatpak package (for amd64 and aarch64) that works across most distros and Linux phones. #Flathub probably wont accept due to their AI policy but people can still install from Github.
@opensourceopenmind Thanks, really glad it’s landing well on F-Droid. Good news, a Flatpak is on the way. A separate team is building it now so iOS keeps moving in parallel. We’ll cover amd64 and aarch64, test first, then roll out. Flathub will probably say no over their AI rule, so we’ll host it on GitHub and our own repo. Linux phones included.
