This is probably going to lead to a whole series spoilers rant… but I honestly can’t say for sure whether it’s actually a new Xenoblade or the start of a new continuity since Xenoblade Chronicles 2 literally did the same thing… but anyways regardless I realized something…

It’s really kind of funny how X released twice and both endings have some unanswered questions (mostly in the original) with the original’s “something about this planet” and then X DE basically linking X and 3 in a way that to me heavily implies they’re in the world that became the combo of 1 and 2 and also from what I can recall the ghosts are still out there being a universe destroying threat so…
like IDK… after Future Redeemed I’d be legitimately ok not touching the numbered Xenoblade world again… but after X it just seems like there should be more… mainly cause I hate the whole “ghosts destroy 3 universes very quickly” thing that like I legit thought (and still kind of do) that they’d be 4’s antagonists… like how fogbeasts were set up in Future Connected to hint at 3…

but for all I know this could actually be a prequel going over the history of the samarians since the most we got to see of them was… It’s definitely too early to say whether or not it’s connected to 3 and X and how but like also… if this WAS a fresh start why would they rerelease X so it connects to 3 which had a nice ending and why would they release switch 2 versions of ALL 3 numbered Xenoblades leading up to genesis’ release year…
but if there is no connection than maybe X will get a remake for the switch 2 or 3 in 2035… and a new continuity can begin…
