Started playing this after I’ve played all of the other Xenoblade games. I had the original on WiiU, but only got a couple of hours into it. Didn’t really hold my interest like the other Xenoblade games.

< A couple of hours in > “Wow, the folks at Monolith really controlled themselves here. No ridiculous booba, jigglies, etc. This really is different“

< Time passes, Goetia Appears > “And there is it… okay…well I mean who could resist the temptation to make a sexy villain?”

< Turns out Goetia was really tough for me at my level/load out >

“Well guess I’ll finally need to screw around with stuff and figure out armor and what not…”

< discovers the “diving suits”, school blazer, existence of bunny suit, etc >

“Well, they tried a little bit at least…”

It would be funny if the next Xenoblade game had food crafting, in-battle item usage like X, and Mythra was a character who you could ask to make food for you for use in battle. This item could have a 1 in a thousand chance of healing you but otherwise it's instadeath.

When I tried to come up with my favorite Xenoblade main story boss fights I noticed that I have difficulty coming up with a list because the series has a huge problem with those fights all feeling same with only few exceptions.

The only thing that really changes is your party and their art selection.

I hope they improve on that for the later Xenoblade games.
