On our first trip to Iceland, we found this Berliner Weiße.
While it is fermented with a Skyr culture and brewed with geothermal energy and could hardly be more icelandish, I had the hypothesis that this light, spritzy and tart beer with strong notes of woodruff and some alluring fermentation naughtyness would be perfect for a continental European heatwave. So we brought two carriers of this stuff to verify that hypothesis.
What can I say? I was right. 😋 🍻
