We're excited to introduce IFIN's first open source project! RSS-Filter solves a problem we suspect is common: our RSS feeds were full of noise. Sponcon, unrelated stories, etc. While some services exist to filter feeds by title, we had none that could filter by category or other criteria. RSS-Filter fixes that.

This tool allows you to configure a set of feed sources and filter rules. It will produce filtered feeds that can be hosted by any web server, or simply consumed as local files.

We're using RSS-Filter today to get sponcon out of BleepingComputer and a few other feeds. We hope you find it useful!

Generate filtered RSS feeds based on your own filter criteria. Keep the signal, lose the noise!

Oh and of course, all this code is lovingly hand-crafted by human beings struggling through the problem, reasoning on their own, and designing a system that makes sense.
