Schools closed, events cancelled, travel warnings, and lives lost.

This is the direct result of political choices made in our parliaments.

The cost of climate inaction is incalculable.

@ScottishGreens but if you listen to the deniers, this is normal. As usual, they prove yet again that they know nothing.
@kilttilter @ScottishGreens Deniers can't do science. Deniers can't do intelligence. Deniers can't do critical thinking.
@MyricaGale @ScottishGreens I'm so glad you said that. I've been beating that drum for eons. Deniers are conservative and often religious too. I mention that frequently on one of the radio shows I'm on.
@kilttilter @ScottishGreens They remind me of the (probably politically incorrect) phrase that was around a few years ago "Too stupid to understand science? Why not try religion?" Unfortunately the message may have backfired...
@MyricaGale @ScottishGreens spot on! As for being PC, well, some expression exists for a reason.
@ScottishGreens
All of Europe aching on the fossil-fueled-barbecue
@ScottishGreens Oh, that's good, then the German government doesn't have to bother: What's not calculable isn't real (and what is, isn't either) :)
@ScottishGreens political ignorance and big gap of leadership
@ScottishGreens This is the climate sequence stripes for where I live.
This is about as clear a diagram as you can get. Any politician that does not understand what it represents would do well to resign.

@ScottishGreens

And like always nobody cares about Africa. 25 in Europe is a catastrophe but 40+ for Africa is …

@apr @ScottishGreens Isn't 40+ kinda normal in Africa?
@ScottishGreens Wasn't Europe supposed to cool down due to the Gulf stream stopping? So perhaps it will even out?
@ScottishGreens And of business decisions made since 1974 at the latest.
