Sad news! What other alternatives can I use to remove the DRM from my Audible books? I shop Libro FM but there are authors that only have audiobooks on Audible . @WeirdWriter It's not free, but I think Open Audible is still an option.
@WeirdWriter Open Audible is what I've been using myself.

@WeirdWriter The old ANALOG HOLE?

A cable and an audio recorder??!

@WeirdWriter @kaveinthran I use audible-cli and ffmpeg (with the --activation-bytes option). audible-cli can give you your activation bytes and it can also download the aax files for your books. Once you have both of those, ffmpeg can convert the aax file into another format. I also wrote a script to convert the chapters JSON file to CSV and split the audio file into pieces for each chapter. I made the script so I could import everything into OBI to create a DAISY book, after doing some things by hand in OBI like defining the audio for the headings.
