No heavy lifting is required to conclude that strength training promotes good health. It’s especially important as we age and muscles waste away if we don’t do something. Plus, as a new study finds:
“People who did around 90 to 120 minutes of strength training a week – or roughly an hour and a half to two hours – had about a 13% lower risk of dying from any cause than those who did none.”
