If you don't use an #adblocker in 2026.

I don't know wtf you're doing.

I've been using #ublockorigin for years without a fault.

I just enable it and forget about it.

But sometimes, I try a new web browser or reset an existing one.

These few minutes, even seconds, without an adblocker make me wanna kill myself.

@frank Yeah, if there weren't adblockers etc I wouldn't even bother with the internet. I gave up on TV in the 1980's because of ads. I saw a few years ago at a friend's place there was a show on and during the show there were popups from the bottom of the screen advertising other shows. People pay for this? Give them money so that ads will be pushed in yer face? Chumps, cowards, lickspittles.

Yeah, some website are literally covered with ads and popups. There no room anymore for the actual article or whatever.

And then, you have youtube videos with 2 ads in the beginning with more ads throughout the video.

I spend so much time on the internet that an adblocker isn't an option.
