So. Earlier today, I helped a lovely American lady make a short notice rebooked trip. (We were playing Ticket To Ride, UK disruption edition).
This was from our lounge near P1 to P14.
Passenger needing station wheelchair and having a full luggage trolley of bags.
My lovely colleague A (name changed to avoid any identification) helped by pushing the passenger, I had the luggage.

We fight the crowds at P13 & 14. The disruption caused a lot of mayhem. But we get there under the 10mins we had. Get passenger on.
Get £20 thrust into my boobs, then stuffed down my tabard as I'm trying to avoid being sent to the next station.

I didn't think Americans were *that* aggressive tippers...

@Nikkileah some people just don’t feel right unless they tip. I used to have people shove tips into my hand when I sacked groceries as a teen, even though it could get me fired. I do not understand it despite being a USian
