@lauren So, we can build arches & ballrooms & gild statues, destroy the reflecting pool, bail out farmers in Argentina, give billions to Iran - but can’t do Medicaid & feed children, forgive student debt, or fund Social Security for Gen X. @lauren @ElizabethEiler It wasn't the bombs and guns. It was spreading to thin, the cold etc. the bombs made everything worse, it didn't solve problems. The big bomb in Japan just showed everyone how stupid it was, if it stopped the pacific war it was because people saw what a stupid waste of life this was.
