As much as I hope the government will fold and go back to the drawing board on the NDIS changes, I don't see that happening and think the Liberals will back them in the end.
Holding back the tax reforms was just delaying the inevitable
The hope is that the impacts can be reduced by further amendments to what's proposed imo and the longer inquiry will hopefully help with that
Keep fighting though, the changes are too big, too fast
@dalereardon @HardBeingGreen That did work for Lambie, but I think that was both a smaller concession than the Greens actually want, and it is different for an independent and a party.
The Greens don't always get the balance right, but I think that banking on the Libs not eventually voting for the NDIS cuts is a shaky proposition. Listening to /Libs talk about how much they care about people with disabilities it's hard not to laugh. Can't believe a word they are saying. #AusPol
We'll likely never know for sure but lots would argue the Greens were punished for delaying legislation in the last Parliament e.g. the HAFF despite securing an extra $3 billion

@HardBeingGreen @LovesTha @dalereardon If IiRC the Greens were just trying to get a better deal for people but the media and government decided to demonise them for their efforts.
It's no wonder the Greens have trouble breaking through. Regardless I hope they keep pushing for some sort of wealth tax, that issue alone could be an election winner IMO.
