@jon @aworkinglibrary I have worked a variety of shifts and I think 3 or 4 day shifts should be more common. Even if it is 4x10hr or 3x12 they more days off do so much more for preventing burn out in my experience.
I don't mind more hours, but you know corporations expect you to be there all the time and don't care about mental health. If I could just say "I am not feeling it can I have less hours this week" that would be amazing. Though some people HAVE to work more hours to pay the bills.

I hope the annual leave doubles like the hours per week does!
Ie 72 hours a week instead of 35 should be 82 days leave per year instead of 40.
Joking aside, a 996 working pattern sounds horrendous.
Could we also get a strong union to ensure that management doesn't claw this back in a few years?
