A cool breeze sent leaves curling toward the ground twisting words that fell awkward along a path that appeared similar just not in tone, where the greens warmed edges in yellow light illuminating something much deeper that twirled through and around binding authenticity throughout a germinating landscape somehow it married the spaces between the inflections of nature however, leaves twisting their uncomfortable light left suspicious flagstones that iced over with each step taken I realised I was within a wolf’s vision as it peered through the veneer of a sheep a warning curled its soulless form landing at my feet
