Won an epic victory in my first campaign game (Carthage) in #OldWorld on turn 98/100. Lucked out a bit in that my final goal was to adopt the Professional Army law, which required the Manor tech, which I drew in my first hand after the reshuffle.

I'm definitely liking the game. The family politics and character events add a lot to it, and I love being clever with the placement of various buildings. I didn't really feel challenged in this first campaign game, but figure it might've been going easy on me to not scare off new players. Will have to see how that develops.

Returned to #OldWorld for the second Carthage campaign mission. Epic victory in 66/100 turns, and I could've done it in far fewer if I hadn't ignored money-generating until the final goal of raising 20k coins popped up. Luckily the description of the next campaign game explicitly says it'll be harder. Not certain if I like the idea of a forced unending war, though. Might prefer just a free game? I'll see when I'm next in the mood...
