A reminder to everyone that I am a proud middle finger Touch ID-er. Even if it weirds everyone out.

@rmondello omg genius, I'll switch tomorrow - using my index finger to press the lock button and instantly unlock again is a recipe for having to bring cake in my office.
@rmondello @timonus this is why I have multiple fingers registered! Maybe it marginally reduces security but it greatly increases availability.
@rmondello This seems like the most sensible option? My middle finger is the longest, why wouldn't I use that one? 😅
@heygarrett @rmondello same! it’s the one (incrementally) closest to the button 😆
@rmondello @timonus I'm a right pinky finger Touch ID-er, because I feel it's a quick travel time to the Touch ID sensor.
@rmondello I thought the thumb was a lifehack for unlocking while walking. The middle finger is great, for when I have to begrudgingly unlock.

@rmondello @timonus I go nose.

I’m constantly head banging into my desk anyway, convenient!

@rmondello
I go rock climbing so I need my middle, pointer, and my thumb due to my frequently messed-up fingerprints
@rmondello @timonus Old people‘s hands don’t have reliable fingerprints, read an article about it & it’s definitely true. Will try the middle finger trick to see if it helps 🙂
@rmondello @timonus oooh I didn’t know I was in an exclusive club!
@rmondello I agree, although I use my index finger with the magic keyboard. And I also registered my thumb so I can still unlock the laptop if I pick it up with both hands.
