Russia is bombing their schools, hospitals and homes.

Russian imperialism in Ukraine is longstanding, with almost 200 000 dying in Ukraine Stalin's terror, and millions in the Holodomor, Stalin's man-made famine I. Ukraine.
Russia has killed 700 children since 2022. It may be less than Gaza, but there isn't a competition for the number of kids killed.

There were collaborators in every country the Nazis invaded, Ukraine was no different (especially because it was caught between two savage dictatorships), however more than 7 million Ukrainians fought against nazi Germany in the red army.

@loupdescimes @villebooks What provocations, and what manipulation of Maidan? My former partner was there. She was a student. Hundreds died because the pro-Russian president sent in his thugs to stop the protests.
The protests weren't even that popular until the pro-Russian president of Ukraine CHOSE to send in his thugs.

She was fed up of the constant corruption. She wanted (like many young Ukrainians) for Ukraine to turn to Europe instead of its former abuser (Russia).
The pro-Russian government shot at her and many other Ukrainians.

I'm indifferent to NATO and would prefer a European security framework independent from the United States.
I disagree with your views on the EU. The EU has been one of the key forces for ecology over the past two decades. When it comes to migration, there are problems with Frontex, I agree. But the EU is not a totalitarian project, far from it.

I wish you could also recognise Russia's historical and present efforts to ethnically cleanse Ukraine.
