I dreamt that Romulans have the best tomato sauce in the galaxy and nobody knows the recipe. There are persistent rumours that they cook the fruit in a special chamber right on the reactor wall, where gravitational forces from the singularity make instantly perfect sauce.

Occasionally somebody loses a finger in the process but this is considered well worth it.
