#HobbyStreak day 1343:

Another critical failure on my #Elegoo #CC2 printer, this time on the 0.4 nozzle. This printer is turning out to be a bit shit - adhesion is extremely nonexistent, no matter how clean I keep the build plate.

Looked into it, and turns out adhesion indeed is bad for some other users. However, either I'm the only one who suffers hotend destruction or I'm the only one brave enough to admit.

Will try hair spray and 50% speed when I install the next hotend. #3DPrinting

@erikcats I forgot thr vernacular, but there is a setting in rhe slicer to do a firsr layer (or layers) where the nozzle is squishing the filament onto the plate.

It was really helpful when I did 3d printing.
It makes the print that much longer, but rarelly missed a print after that.

I guess you might already enable that and still get spagetti.

I'm just thinking hairspray is not the healthiest, and a bit of a hazard.

@mxfraud raft?

@erikcats yes.
Mine had little issues with aderence, so it was ok with a brim only.

The main thing was setting in the slicer that made it extrude more like 120% or something.
