Here's a favorite "cheap and cheerful" watch from the recently departed Eddie P. and all his friends at Time Factors: this Smiths-branded execution of the W.W.W. pattern. I've long had a weakness for recent watches inspired by that famed Dirty Dozen, and this is a fine example of that breed: a tasteful and approximately vintage-like 36mm, a useful level of traditional magnetic shielding, and fine timekeeping courtesy of the hand-wound Sellita SW219 movement. Do these movements routinely stay under a second of deviation per day, or did Time Factors find room in this moderate budget to put in some time regulating these, or did I just get lucky? However it worked out, I'm happy with this, and it's gotten lots of wrist time since I got it (even though it competes with nominally-fancier watches).
