Friends, I've been pouring my heart into something for a long time, and I can finally share it: my book, No Sight Required: The Blind User's Guide to AI, is coming to Amazon in 2026. πŸ’›
Here's the truth that drove me to write it β€” for the first time in history, the computer can meet us halfway. As a totally blind musician, assistive-tech professional, and advocate, I've navigated my whole life through screen readers β€” NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack. And I've watched AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini open doors I once thought were closed for good.
But too often that technology comes wrapped in jargon and gatekeeping. So I wrote the guide I wish I'd had: clear, practical, and written from inside the blind community. No fluff, no barriers β€” just real, step-by-step help. How to navigate every major AI platform with your screen reader, a ready-to-use prompt library, and real-world wins: on the job, troubleshooting, gaming, even building your own accessible software.
Because independence shouldn't be a privilege. It's a right. And to claim it β€” no sight required. ✨
It launches on Amazon in 2026, and I'd love for you to be the very first to know. Drop your email here and I'll send you one note β€” no spam, ever β€” the moment it's live:

(And in the spirit of the book: Written by me, helped by AI, finished by a human, checked by more humans. 😊)
Thank you for walking this road with me. Every single share helps this reach someone who's been waiting for exactly this. πŸ™
With gratitude,
Tony

No Sight Required β€” The Blind User's Guide to AI

Master ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini with NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. Written by a totally blind AT professional, for our community. Coming soon.

@tonygeb23 Will there be a DRM-free copy of the book? Read it with EasyReader, VoiceDream, Paperback, etc?
@remixman I am exploring options that will be both benefitial to readers in an affordability aspects, while also ensuring profitability for those that spent significant time into the content. Accessibility as at the core, none the less. Big cheers!
@DavidGoldfield @tonygeb23 I don't know if you talk about it in your book, but one useful thing to us musicians would be that we could read the screen of a musical keyboard, using glasses for example, then some AI would help us to change settings, choose tones and acompaniments, etc. Do you know if things have arrived at this point already?
@clv1 @DavidGoldfield great point. and I love it. Yes. I touch on using the voice mode feature within Chat GPT and Google Gemini with video streaming capabilities on our mobile devices to gain insightful knowledge on screens or changed info with menus. Great question.
@tonygeb23 @technocounselor Oh, I am so excited to hear about your book! Wonderful news!
@CreativeChris @technocounselor Big thanks, Chris. Can't wait to get it in people's hands.
@tonygeb23 @technocounselor Awesome! Can't wait to read it. Just a quick question: given how fast things are moving with all these AI models and ways of doing things, will you have to update it and is there a way to do that so that people who purchased your book have updates if there are any? I think there was a way to do that in the Apple Store because sometimes I would get the updated IOS access for all book update.
@CreativeChris @technocounselor Incredible question. That’s something I’m already exploring with Amazon and Apple. But it’ll be an excellent learning experience for sure. At the end of the day, education materials should never come with a hefty price tag.
@tonygeb23 @technocounselor Yes, I remember that when I bought Shelley Brisbane's book when it first came out, I could get the next one for an free update but I don't know how long that update lasted.
@tonygeb23 I am so excited about this book. We need to connect sir <smile>.
@JeffBishop It would be a real treat to reconnect, Jeff!
@JeffBishop Hi, Jeff. You had sent your number via a DM but I lost it. Do you mind shooting that over?
