Last night I was made to remove the line about cops brainstorming additional charges to make themselves look better about fucking up (ALL charges were dropped eventually) from a report, right about the time cops were brainstorming charges for a 12 yr old they shot at, multiple times judging by the plethora of tiny cones marking the shell casings.

1. Thank fucking DOG cops are shit shots or there might be three dead 12-year-olds right now.

2. The practice of standing in FRONT of a vehicle while firing at it is the MOST INANE FUCKING THING ever to have originated in watching too much television.

3. Cops ABSOLUTELY DO OVERCHARGE AND JUST MAKE SHIT UP when they know they're in the wrong, in order to deflect and make it look like they've done something impressive. We really have to look at cases where charges get dropped or reduced through that lens, ALWAYS.

4. Since there really is no such thing as accountability for police, I have developed a petty and omnipresent urge to see them do more paperwork and be embarrassed by the actual wrong that they do.

I'm going to start calling for public inquiries into everything. I don't actually think the fucking inquiries are going to do a fucking thing except make paperwork and embarrass them.

Much like I don't think the SIU investigations do anything except make paperwork and embarrass them, but it is the tool I have and it is the tool I'm going to use.

4. I'm endlessly impressed by the size of my information and rumour network at this point. You'll see why shortly.
