virtuosewI took my inspiration for Aethelflaed's barrels from the barrels in Asterix In Britain, in which Asterix is credited with introducing the British to tea, several centuries before Catherine of Braganza actually did so.
That enabled me to think in terms of simple colouring that yet suggests more than it does, which is very much what I am trying to do these days.
