The second release candidate for #Mastodon 4.6 is now out!

It addresses several issues found in 4.6.0-rc.1, and is expected to become 4.6.0 later this week.

If you are an admin, updating ahead of the full 4.6.0 release would be a great help to find and squash any last-minute bugs!

@MastodonEngineering Regarding the new email subscription/newsletter feature: does that send the subscriber an email for every new post, or is it configurable as a daily digest?

@Texan_Reverend This is one email per post, with a 5 (iirc) minute delay to add self-replies and allow the poster for some edits.
We decided to launch it quickly without digests for now, but if there is demand we will build it.
