How I started the day
@smellsofbikes Pretty close to the edge. Shops don't like to patch those. I guess you were about due for a new tire anyways.
@rev_mook they decided to patch it so I guess I'm lucky so far
@smellsofbikes You are in luck - it is not in the sidewall.
@smellsofbikes besides the screw, either you were running the tire underinflated or the axle is misaligned
@uint8_t I think it was running under inflated. This probably didn't just happen today.
@smellsofbikes Oh no! Hopefully pluggable.

@smellsofbikes that sucks.

One thing I love/hate about CO tires is that I have two full sets of tires for the same car to split miles across but twice the worry about wear/flats on an AWD vehicle :(

@bolderbekah I drive all seasons but my wife has summer and winter for hers, and it does make a difference. But yeah, more stuff to go wrong
@smellsofbikes Extra equipment not necessary! Gah. Happy Monday, huh?
@smellsofbikes Are you driving in @MLE_online ‘s neighborhood? If not, that seems like quite a coincidence.
@AnachronistJohn @smellsofbikes someone is out there stalking mastodon users and putting screws in their tires
@MLE_online @smellsofbikes Last week I found a perfectly good, unused, untarnished, unoxidized roofing nail right in the path where my tire would go if I drove away from where my car is parked. I’m lucky I found it, else I’d be in the same proverbial boat.
