Analysis: "Israel makes no secret of the fact that it is opposing [the US-Iran] agreement & will do whatever it can to sabotage it."

"Netanyahu spent decades pushing US presidents towards military action against Iran. Finally he found one president who was willing to do it, & it is a total failure."

"We are now in the same position right before the war, & maybe even worse".

Iran war updates: US, Tehran confirm ‘peace deal’, signing set for Friday

These were the updates from the US-Israel’s war on Iran on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

@DrALJONES Probably even infinite levels of bombing from the skies would not have changed Iran. It would just bankrupt America. For full regime change they would have to send ground armies into Iran. Trump was not prepared to have hundreds of body bags coming back to Washington.
@DrALJONES
Worse for who? At least for Iran, it has created some level of deterrence by showing they can choke the worlds energy flow and hurt west interests in the region.

This war should have never started, but was inevitable in my view, this was boiling for a while now. I hope it leads to a lasting peace despite all the hurdles ahead.

Re "Worse for who"

Not sure if you read the piece?

@DrALJONES
No 😅 just the quotes you posted. But will read it later.
@DrALJONES
Ah yes, so it is now clear he means worse for who.
@DrALJONES Politicians always ruin military achievements. According to Machiavelli's teachings, an enemy must be defeated 100%. America should have appeared stronger, but Trump was not the kind of man to do such a thing. The best outcome would have been carrying out justice. The regime officials who were responsible for the massacre of 40,000 Iranians didn't die a natural death — they suffered and died agonizingly under fire and rubble, and that is justice.
