What I want to know from governments is this: Commercial social media companies exist to constantly fire things at you in which you have previously seemed to have shown an interest. For this reason they track all you do on their platforms and share it with others. They also control your feed rather than you doing it. They are essentially technological targeting systems.
Why is this OK to do to someone who is 18 but not OK to do to someone who is 17?
Isn't the REAL issue that governments let such companies do this to ANYONE?
