Partially Option A. Example, @[email protected] often do an annual LGBTQ event. That's good. I welcome it. But I'm also #Autistic and I haven't seen them do anything for the #Neurodivergent community.
There's #Strava also, they focus on, actually "only", the Black people. That's good, I welcome it. But I haven't seen them do anything for Asians and the rest of the Brown people.
So, partially Option A. If they're going to do it selectively based on what's currently trending or a big issue, then it's nothing but "jumping on the bandwagon". They're not serious at all. It's just a marketing gimmick to increase brand awareness and gain more customers.
It's the same with finding a job or accepting a job offer. Out front, they claim they're an "equal opportunity employer" but once you're in, it's a complete reverse. Or they claim they're pro-equity and pro-equality, but it's 100% a lie, it's selective. They favor others while ignoring the rest.
Like in one company, they're pro-LGBTQ, they have rules that guarantees LGBTQ are protected from discrimination. Awesome, right? But the rest of the marginalised people? They don't care. They just listen but nothing. Nothing to protect them from discrimination. That's jumping the bandwagon.
