@codingWombat This was Sydney back in the day before I moved to Melbourne. But I did see some extremely big uptimes on machines in Melbourne back in the 2000s, probably would have been longer if not for that pesky Y2K issue that needed patching out.
@tubsta@codingWombat in fact it was only ever in outer suburban industrial areas I've seen problems. Big machines feeding back EMF into the grid and making all your electronic equipment sad. Add to that the hotter temps in western sydney and substations would occasionally melt down
