A #bike ride from my door, through #Chabot and #Garin parks along the ridge line, then return along the #BayTrail, then a final climb up the hill to my door.

I did this ride on my dedicated #bikepacking bike to see how six days in a row of this magnitude, or a bit less will feel. Next week I find out.

I'm taking an overnight Amtrak train from Emeryville, CA, USA to Klamath Falls, OR, then riding the Oregon Cascades Volcanic Arc bike packing route north, then turning right and riding east through Sisters, OR to Bend, OR. My wife will be there with our van. We'll both attend a conference for NICA, (#morekidsonbikes) then drive home. It will be fun, but yesterday was an eye opener; it will be harder going, on this bike.

I have did a bit of bikepacking in Oregon out of Portland back in 2011 but not sure of the trails etc, I made it up as I went along.
