As per tradition, the US will sign an agreement with Iran, leaving the region with more instability, the US with less advantage, and having spent billions of dollars and, of course, the lives of US servicemembers, not to mention untold civilian lives.

At home, Americans have effectively lost economic power through war inflation, while billionaires have consolidated more wealth.

In short, a typical war.

@mcnado @PatrickoftheG that's always been the case though. But when was the last time America won a war? Iran hit them especially hard, costing billions of dollars to take out thousands of dollars worth of drones, upended the worlds energy market, destroyed the mirage of US security for other countries, proved America is no where near ready for more than a few week's war, and every war now causes more and more war wariness back home. That's a lot of fuckups
