quackademicA woman reported to police a man’s past & likely further violent actions toward children & was recorded as ‘vexatious’. When the man then assaulted a child the first suspect was the mother. Reporting on the child’s death focused on two villains: child protection services & the mother.
It’s so much easier to blame a woman for the actions of a violent man. ‘Look what she made him do’, ‘she could have prevented it’, etc etc.
Should be shocking. Is too familiar.
