@louie I tried Ecosia in 2017 when Google flipped to prioritized paid rankings over relevance.

My immediate thought was "How do I even know if they really plant a tree for every xxx number of searches? There's not even messaging with actual photography to quantify the result."

This is like "We planted trees so we can consume that much and more in resources to give you search results"
