We deflected and delayed and deferred and distracted for years. Grandparents got them a toy set that they played with for a couple pf months before it mysteriously disappeared while we pushed the hell out of Molly of Denali.

@MichaelTBacon @PhoenixSerenity it is truly astounding how much copaganda (and weirdly, royalty apologia) is aimed at 3-5-year-olds. Almost makes one wonder whether our oppressive hierarchies could even sustain themselves without so much unearned bias in their favor laid down at such a young age.

@PhoenixSerenity @tiotasram @MichaelTBacon I'm absolutely against cops in schools, but I wonder if cops in schools don't serve the opposite effect: teaching kids that cops are hostile authorities.

A former Israeli peace activist, now living here, taught me about how Israel brainwashes kids to hate Palestinians from before age 1. They have baby books - focused on hating Palestinians & teaching their kids that they are better than everyone else.
It's similar to copaganda brainwashing in Global North. It's sick. I consider it a form of child abuse.
