Related has anyone purchased *and run in* the new Saucony Kinvara 1 they released a few months ago? I loved the old low stack minimalist Kinvaras, but I'm not feeling like risking $140 and the local shoe place doesn't have any of them.

Also the old Kinvara low stack shoes used to be dirt cheap.

@jojo I definitely loved the 13s, their last minimal shoes in the line it seemed. All the newer iterations seem like a new product :/

I bought 4 pairs of new old stock of the 13s when they showed the 14s. But those never lasted long so I've been without for a few years.

I did get 3 pairs of the 15s in the prettiest color, but those ended up being more street shoes than run shoes. They were ok. Still super light, but not much else similar to the earlier ones.

But they sent me an email with a so called Kinvara 1 and it's supposed to be more inline with them before they got like 10mm taller.

@jojo I bought a second pair once I tried them and enjoyed them, they were excellent, so light and responsive.
