The wee one was unwell today. He woke up and vomited immediately. Subdued and pale. I cancelled preschool and kept him at home. He wouldn't eat (not even an ice block) and barely took a sip of liquid until about 4pm whereupon he began to brighten up. We played cars on the floor and he managed to eat an ice block while we did so. He fell asleep in my bed clutching his bunny just after 7pm. You feel so useless when they're sick for no obvious reason and you can't make it better for them.
